Jordan Fraser-Trumble
Mental Health Social Worker · Somatic Psychotherapist · Performing Arts Wellbeing
I'm a mental health social worker and somatic psychotherapist based in East Melbourne, working with adults in private practice.
My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed — which means the work follows what you bring, at the pace that's right for you. I work with people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and grief — and the patterns that get stuck not just in our thinking, but in the body itself.
I draw on Focussed Psychological Strategies and a range of evidence-based approaches, alongside Radix — a body-based therapy that works with breath, movement and awareness to access what talking alone doesn't always reach.
I also work with performers navigating the particular pressures of that world — exposure, comparison, performance anxiety, and the relationship between creative work and self-worth. With more than fifteen years as a professional actor, I have a firsthand understanding of the unique challenges performers face.
My practice is queer-friendly and non-judgemental. You're welcome here.
Sessions are available in person in East Melbourne and via telehealth. I am a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
